Geelong Rangers Football Club is a soccer and sporting club based at the W.H. Myers Reserve in Bell Post Hill in the northern suburbs of the City of Greater Geelong. Our club is inclusive and multi-cultural with a strong focus on coaching and player development, and a proud family-friendly atmosphere.
We currently have senior and junior teams in State and Geelong Regional leagues. In the last 2 years we have successfully grown our female participation with our Senior Womens team winning both the League and Grand Finals in 2018 & 2019. In 2019 we fielded teams across all age groups in the female competition and we plan to continue our growth in female participation. A key strength of our club is our structured approach to coaching and development through our affiliation with the Football Federation Australia (FFA) National Football Curriculum - a guaranteed method of developing quality players. Our commitment for the past few years has been to ensure that the FV curriculum is delivered effectively across every team in every age group. This continues in 2019 and beyond. |
LOCATIONOur home ground is located at:
W H Myers Reserve Creamery Road, Bell Post Hill, VICTORIA Australia |
Clubrooms and fields are located on the far-side of the sporting reserve (travel to the right around the oval for access).

FACILITIES |
Our home ground offers 3 soccer grounds - a main pitch and two training pitches - At the start of 2019 we installed competition grade lighting to Pitch 1 enabling night games to be played. Part of this installation also saw more lights added to Pitch 2 and in the near future we hope to have all 3 pitches fully floodlit. Player facilities include full change rooms with showers including female friendly changerooms . Our clubrooms are clean, comfortable and well-appointed, offering a full bar, meals area, full kitchen facilities and dancefloor.

COACHING & DEVELOPMENT |
A key strength of our club is our structured approach to coaching and development. We appoint experienced and committed coaches across all our senior and junior teams.
Underpinning our coaches is our affiliation with the Football Federation Australia (FFA) National Football Curriculum - a guaranteed method of developing quality players - with structured methods, licencing requirements, processes and lesson-plans ensuring a high-quality and consistent coaching experience for players of all age groups. Our commitment for the past few years has been to ensure that the FV curriculum is delivered effectively across every team in every age group. |
CULTURE |
Geelong Rangers is an inclusive and multi-cultural club that aims to provide a welcoming atmosphere for all our players, members and guests. We are very proud of our family-friendly atmosphere and regularly run social activities, such as trivia nights and fundraisers, to bring players, parents and families together to have fun and make connections. Our Family Meal Nights are a highlight of the week, with our dedicated group of volunteers serving meals for up to 200 people in the clubrooms after training.
